You can share your data with other devices with the help of Mobile Hotspot in your windows 10 computer. You can share up to 10 devices with Mobile Hotspot.
CREATE MOBILE HOTSPOT WITH YOUR WINDOWS 10
Previously you need to download some third party software to enable Wi-Fi hotspot from your Windows 10 PC. Now you can enable it directly from the settings tab.
With its latest update Windows enabled this feature of Wi-Fi Hotspot direct from settings. Before now you need to use the command prompt to enable virtual or third party Wi-Fi Hotspot.
This feature can be enabled from the computer having Wi-Fi connectivity and can connect up to 8 devices from your PC.
Note: This feature is available after updating latest update of windows. Check that you are using 14379 or later version of windows 10. You can check this by typing Winver.exe in Run.
To enable Wi-Fi to go to Settings in Start Menu. Here click on Network & the Internet. Now click on Mobile Hotspot. Here under Mobile Hotspot you will find Share my internet connection with other devices. You can turn ON/OFF it. Turn on it.
As soon as you turn on this, windows will assign a network name and a strong password to this network. You can change name and password of your network by Edit option given below.
Now you are ready to connect via Wi-Fi Hotspot. To connect a device Via windows open your device’s Wi-Fi settings and find your Windows device over there to connect. Put password there to connect.
