How to take screenshots in Windows 8.1 & 10

Today's world of technology makes it a necessity to keep the record of what we do in our day to day life. In view of above Screenshots comes handy. Below is some ways of how to take Screenshots in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

1.   In Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, the simplest way of taking a Screenshot is by pressing Keys Windows + PrntScr. It will be saved in This PC > Pictures > Screenshots.


2.   By Snipping Tool.

Go to Search by Right clicking on Start Menu. Type Snipping Tool and click on the Icon. This will come


Choose what type of Screenshot you want to take. Now this will open in a separate Window.


From there you can save it where you want.

3.   By using PrntScr (Print Screen)

PrntScr button on the keyboard of your PC/Laptop can be used to take Screenshots. Press PrntScr. It will be saved in Clipboard. Now you can use it with some Windows App like Paint, with some editing.


4.   Keyboard shortcut Alt + PrntScr can also be used to take a Screenshot. It will be saved to the clipboard. Windows App like Paint etc can be used to retrieve that Screenshot with some basic editing.
