How to use Multitasking and Tablet mode in your Windows 10/8/7

You can do Multitasking with your windows computer. You can also use your PC in Tablet mode.

Multitasking in your Windows 10/8/7



To use your PC in multitasking, go to Start Menu, click on it, go to settings and click on it. There you will find first tab SYSTEM (Display, notifications, apps, power), click on it. Now click on Multitasking.



Now as you can see, first is Snap.

  Ø Here you can arrange your windows automatically by dragging them to the sides or corners of the screen

  Ø When you snap more than one window, automatically adjust the size of  windows
  
  Ø When you snap a window, shows what you can snap next to it
    
    All options above have ON/OFF toggle switch.

    Second is Virtual desktops.
  
    Ø On the taskbar, shows windows that are open on – 1. All desktops,    2. Only the desktop I’m using

  Ø Pressing Alt+Tab shows windows that are open on - 1. All desktops, 2. Only the desktop I’m using

    Tablet  mode in your Windows 10/8/7

    Below Multitasking is Tablet mode. In Tablet mode, the first option is Make Windows more touch friendly when using your device as a tablet.

   


    Further is When I sign in - 1. Automatically switch to Tablet mode, 2. Go to desktop, 3. Remember what I used last.

    Next is When this device automatically switches tablet mode on or off – 1. Don’t ask me and don’t switch, 2. Always ask me before switching, 3. Don’t ask me and always switch.

    After that is Hide app icons on the taskbar in tablet mode(ON/OFF).
